Demon Slayer took Twitter by storm in 2019 after Hinokami; Episode 19 of the first season and is coming with the second season soon. However, here’s a perk on the direct sequel; Demon Slayer: Mugen Train that fall in between.

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train is a visual treat curated to tickle your feelings, and leave it lingering for the time You comprehend, and once you did, the vicarious ephemeral feelings subdue to your understanding creating a void. Kimitsu No Yaiba: Mugen Train is plotted around the journey of Tanjiro Kamado, who seeks the knowledge of Hinokami Kagura; The Dance of The Fire God. HInokami Kagura is a breathing style utilized in episode -19 of the first season; passed down from generations in the Kamdo Family along with the hanafuda Earrings. Hinokami was used against Rui; Lower of the 12th Kizuki as a desperate move to save her little sister Nezuko.

However, It come from a ritual ceremony practiced every new year, in which Kamados uses the breathing style to dance from sunset to sunrise in order to ward off the diseases. While, Tanjiro is able to use the same in his battle, he seeks to improvise and learn more about The Dance of Fire God.

The movie soon shift it’s gaze to Kyojuro Rengoku rather Tanjiro Kamado. Rengoku a.k.a The Flame Hashira steals the Movie and engrave his name despite being in a supporting role. As the plot proceeds, Rengoku shines like a brimming star filled with sensation of lukewarm happiness, subsequently by the void at the end. The sheer will of Rengoku will make you praise him again and again and again.

The animation of the movie is exemplary, Specifically, the backgrounds happen to be realistic enough, that one can lost the track, but the characters. The sound animation enhance the overall experience of the movie. ufotable might be lethargic with their taxation but they sure know how to animate an awesome Movie.

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train was released amid corona pandemic last year, subsequently after another ufotable masterpiece; Fate Stay/Night Heaven’s Feel 3. The schedule of both movies were pushed to adjust with the pandemic. Nonetheless, the wait was worth the watch.

Where can I watch Demon Slayer: Mugen Train?

Demon Slayer Season 1 and Demon Slayer; Mugen Train a.k.a Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Ressha-hen is available for watch in English and Japanese on Funimation and Crunchyroll. So, You can head on to Funimation and watch the series as well as movie in one go. However, the movie is yet to be added on Crunchyroll.

When Will Demon Slayer Season 2 Release?

As per Crunchyroll, the second season of Demon Slayer; Kimitsu no Yaiba will premiere sometime in Summer 2021.

The number of episodes in season 2 is not yet known, however the second season will have at least twenty two to twenty six episodes based on asumption traced from first season. The second season of anime is plotted around the Entertainment District Arc and will be the direct sequel to the movie. The series explore the Entertainment District with The Second Hashira; Tengen Uzui or The Hashira of Sound. Here’s a trailer you can feast on for the time being.
